'Shopping' in class-We learnt about Money!

We learnt Mathematics in a fun way. Since we were going to learn about 'Money', we set up stalls and put up our toys, stationery etc for 'sale' in class. We were given some play money and some of our friends became 'cashiers' while others became 'shoppers' and they went around 'spending their 'money'. We learnt that we should always use our money wisely. We should always check that we get back the correct change from the sellers. We should also spend within our means.

National Day 2010

We celebrated Singapore's 45th Birthday in school on 6th August 2010. We sang National Day songs, recited the pledge and took part in the Lower Primary Games. All of us won a medal. Our class also won 'The Most Enthusiastic Class" Award for P2 Level. We are so proud of ourselves. Well done, P2 Respect!

Read-With-Me Nite 2010

We had our Read-With-Nite on 21st May 2010. On that day, Molly the Mobile Library came to our school. We also had a book fair and some of us bought some interesting books during the book fair. We listened to many stories told by a librarian from the National Library. After that, Declan's mummy, Miss Lee KX and a parent volunteer from another class also read stories to us. There were performance by different classes. There were book reviews, choral reading and poetry recitation. Yicheng, Marsya, Raymond, Pretham and Declan recited the poem on the stage. They did well and everyone clapped for them after their performance. It was a fun night in school.
